I think it's a pack of 10 which is no bargain since individually they're priced at about $10. BTW how many use bore snakes to clean pistols? They're probably a good idea for revolvers since you can clean them from the breach instead of the muzzle.
I never had a problem with a bore snake. I never use it first though and that may be why. I always run a few patches through first then a lubricated snake to finish. I love the outcome.
I don't like them and will not try it again. Use Kroil or another oil on the start of the fat part to avoid hernia issues.
