Despicable abuse of the system and I guarantee you nothing will be done about it at all !!

I'm getting sick to my stomach with this EBT thing, from the 'music video' and now this.
You two are way out of line. He is ENTITLED to it!
He probably got caught because his welfare funded cell phone was off.
Will you please stop whining about this EBT thing! Its good for America, Cogress told us so.
We can all skip a few dinners out, or taking our kids to the movies, or vacations, or college tuition, or steak for dinner. Other people have to eat too you know.

Now please shut up, go back to work, and pay your taxes!

....dang it...where's that sarcasm button???.......
Why am I not suprised by this? (cue part where I once again start to lose faith in humanity).
:damn:grrr:censored
Whenever there is a system, someone wil abuse it. Whether is is not paying your deductible in a body shop, or your town garbage service taking away an extra can after a party because you gave the guy $ at Christmas, every system gets abused.

..or attempting to be a salesman on a forum! (no you, but a general point..) Someone, somewhere is always tryin to beat 'the system'.

We see it here with our own all the time.
I deal with people who abuse the system daily, and every day it makes me sick to see what they get away with. The best part is dealing with them, they expect to be treated like they are Donald trump.

That to me is the biggest insult. At one time due to circumstance way beyond my control I needed some short term help. Family was helping out and a friend put me in touch with a food pantry (I wasn't aware) Let me tell you, I wanted to puke at the thought of needing help.
That is not directed at anyone who legitamilty needs help. Stuff happens to even the best people unfortuantly and sometimes you can't avoid getting help. That comment is based on the people who are scamming the system and don't work a day even though they are perfectly capable. I watch this happen all day long, even some of the employess where I am do it. It's a shame. I am sorry if that offened you.

No, did not offend me at all. The thing that offends me is that I was sick to my stomach and thoroughly disgusted w/ myself about needing help even though I was learning to walk again, and these POS act like you should roll out the red carpet and kiss their behinds, and God help you if you say anything.
The guy in the article is a heroin dealer. Pretty serious. I would bet that he would commit any crime or fraud up to and including dealing without hesistation. Most people with EBT are are not the same as that guy. Face it, a lot of people are [email protected]#ks.. Why does Costco, for which you need to be a vetted member, mark receipts when you leave? Even their membership cannot be trusted. Someone making $500k a year at Goldman just resigned because he could no longer tolerate their corporate culture of getting over on their customers. Theft happens at all levels, and if anything, it gets worse the richer the thieves are.
It's the amount of effort they put into not doing jack shit that fascinates me. Might as well get a job.

I think that might actually get classified as a mental illness at some point. There are plenty of geniuses out in the criminal world that could have had legitmate lives that were just as lucrative. There was an article about real estate in the New York Times recently. It attracts people that were good at something else, but that something else was not a career. I think that real estate would be a great place for criminals and welfare frauds. How smart is JayZ? Coke dealer, now runs a legit empire.
has noone spoken to a person who has used or has a ebt card they think its amazing i used to work at a grocery store and the people used to come in and swipe there cards when the cards ran out of cash they would put it back in there pocket and pull out like 500$ in cash from there off the books jobs so they can claim welfare. the government needs to stop giving our money to thieves and drug dealers.
Disgusting!!!! Can't wait for november

Ummmm.... I hope you are not serious- the reason that RE is a licensed profession is to keep out exactly these types of scammers, although that does not always work and there are lawyers who commit crimes too.

You also spend the first six months of so making literally NO money and then if you are lucky you make a little, but a lot less than you could make robbing liquor stores. RE is a hard business with many requirements including a omprehensive toolbox of core skills, unless you want to dabble with the soccer moms and make 12k a year.

Yes it's a mental illness. Everything is a disease or someone else's fault. Or the best; Society's fault.
The mental illness is that many people make excuses for a system that rewards laziness, lacks accountability and saddest of all breeds a permanent underclass living off the taxpayers

30 years ago, the DSM IV (Psychological bible) classified homosexuality as a mental illness. And after 15 or 20 years, homosexuality entered the mainstream of society. Well, just recently, there was a push to declare pedophilia and beastiality as mental illnesses.

Was this all done to give the psychologists and psychiatrists more revenue options ?? Or to enter these so called abherations or illnesses into a form of legitimacy in mainstream society ?? I guess we'll know more in 30 years.
