I don't know anything about scopes and I have one ( don't know where it came from) that has AIM 4X30 on it. What does this mean and is this a decent scope for a 22 cal rifle?

Thanks Pat I guess mine is an older model but similar to the picture. guess it will work fine for a 22 rifle.

That will work just fine on a .22

Just an FYI, the ad copy quoted above makes a couple references to "real steel"... this is a bit of airsoft jargon referring to "real guns" - leading me to think this scope was possibly intended for airsoft.

Probably NOT an issue on a .22 - airguns can be VERY hard on optics.
