The semi-auto license, if it withstands Constitutional scrutiny, is expected to require the same procedure and time frames as the handgun license.

Right. That's what the Sheriff's are doing as well.if you have a pistol license in nassau just walk in with a letter asking for one and they give it to you for $10

I don't know what it means to "bend" a receiver, but no, rifle permits are required for semi-auto RIFLES only.so im guessing you need a rifle permit now to bend receivers...if thats even legal at this point.
