Has anyone received their "Semi-Auto" License in Nassau or Western Suffolk?

Like the title says, has anyone yet received their "Semi-Auto" License/Endorsement from Nassau or Suffolk PD?

I understand the sluggishness of the county apparatus (in every possible area) due to the cyberattack, but SCPD does seem to be able to print licenses despite that.

If so, or when it happens, I am hoping someone can provide a redacted version of their license/endorsmeent either here, in a DM to me, or through more private and secure channels.

In the interest of full disclosure, I have a lot of things in the hopper right now, but I'd like to begin the preliminary research for a pushback or workaround to SCPD's intention to try to make licensees register their semi-auto purchases or otherwise get permission for each one.

Thanks in advance.

The semi-auto license, if it withstands Constitutional scrutiny, is expected to require the same procedure and time frames as the handgun license.

if you have a pistol license in nassau just walk in with a letter asking for one and they give it to you for $10

Right. That's what the Sheriff's are doing as well.

I'd like to physically see an SCPD-issued rifle endorsement/rifle license/pistol license with rifle added etc. as soon as I can.

Yeah, since the requirements are the same in state law.
so im guessing you need a rifle permit now to bend receivers...if thats even legal at this point.

I don't know what it means to "bend" a receiver, but no, rifle permits are required for semi-auto RIFLES only.

I just went to Nassau and they didn't even ask for the letter (that I just typed up)--it was like going to the bank--drop my pistol license in the drop tray and out come 2 licenses and pay the $10.
