Gun thief arrested. Facing lots of hard time.
I'm paticularly happy this dirtbag was caught as he stole our history. Our heritage.
He's facing 10 years per charge.
DENVER - A Fowler man, arrested last month and accused of stealing historic rifles from Bent's Old Fort Historic Site near La Junta, was indicted this week on 16 counts of federal gun crimes.
The indictment includes two counts of having stolen U.S. property, two muzzle rifles; three counts of having a machine gun; seven counts of having guns after being convicted of an earlier felony; two counts of having unregistered gun silencers; one count of having a stolen gun; and one count of illegally transferring guns and silencers.
