I hope they give him the death penalty. This might however fuel the dumbass law makers here with their "Look what "Assault Weapons" can do" mentality... it was tragic. Yeah that dude has waaaaaay to much shit on there
WAIT THE WAS A MINI IN THERE SOME WHERE

THERE SHOULD BE NO PICTURES OF HIM OR MENTION AT ALL ,, JUST A QUICK 577 VOLT MAKE OVER
There is no death penalty in Europe. 21 years max. That's all he can get.

Unfortunately, no. 21 years total.
I hate the reactionary BS to such a tragedy.
Norway has some of the toughest gun laws in the world. Alas, like the rest of the world, they have their share of insane people.

Brady Center v. 2nd Amendment Foundation on it:

In Australia a call to ban semi-autos: Norway shooting should force gun law change, says Greens leader Bob Brown

He will get 100 days in prison per death I believe I read somewhere. That's just the way they do things over there.

Yes. 21 years total. The killer has the potential for being released back into society in his 50s.

Basically Norway has very restrictive gun laws, but very liberal "rehabilitative"-oriented sentencing for crimes in general.

100 days per human life. That's a deterrent? Unbelievable. But they can cling on to their strict gun laws.
They can cling all they want....If he gets out ( and lives that long ) it will be Bronx Tale in Norway....Clipped in no time by a victims family member
He can get 21 years for each person he killed. So he will spend the rest of his life in jail.
