Hi,
I am taking my wife and a friend to Shooters Pistol Range in Connecticut to morrow. Yesterday, I called to inquire if I need a reservation, but I was also told that without a Connecticut license, I can't bring my guns, even if I "lock-box" them. This morning, I called back to ask if my Utah or Pennsylvania license held any weight, and I was told that I in fact could carrey in a "lock box". Great !! Who do I believe. The guy who said I could ?? Or the guy who said I couldn't ?? And, being that today is Saturday, I can't call the licensing bureau for clarification.
I'll probably err on caution and leave my guns at home, but can anyone point me to some clarification ??
By the way, this law in NY about non-licensees being able to even hold a gun is one of my biggest pet peeves.
