It's times like this that bring out the best in people....

That said, a friend just posted this this morning on Facebook:
Shamrock in Farmingdale selling gas for $8.35 a gallon
8.35 for regular 9.14 for super

I didn't see it myself, only that a friend posted that she saw it.

I filled 4 gas cans yesterday myself for $2.21

ETA: I hope she was wrong & it turns out she needs new glasses.

The online price as of yesterday has them listed at 2.15 /gal (cash discount).

It's a joke. They are no longer selling gas. Now it's just a auto shop, not a gas station. There are several stations on either side of it and within a few hundred yards so you'd have plenty of options if it weren't a joke. But it's a joke. And when the buyer has options, it isn't price gouging, it's just bad business.

Was that the Shamrock that's just off rt 110, like halfway to 109 on main?

...They're always one of the lowest, maybe that's the "don't come in we're out of gas" price?
