I just tried this few hours ago:

http://ontargetshooting.com/

Works great, you basically import the target image from your cell phone, then perform a few simple steps to identify locations of your shots (see demo http://ontargetshooting.com/videos/ontargetdemo2.html) and you get the analysis of your accuracy, etc ...

Pretty neat, funny that I was thinking last night how I could design such a software and had pretty much the same idea s this guy had
1) import pic
2) set reference dimension
3) set point of aim
4) identify shoots,
5) let the software do the rest

I tried the freeware, wondering how much better can the full version ($12) be?

That's pretty cool. I started working on a similar project a few months ago to link load data, chrono data, and target data together. That's pretty much the same approach I came up with for the target data acquisition.

At least my guns don't fall apart and my ammo goes in the gun, not on the dirt
