Follow up On Florida CCW

I just received an e mail from Florida here it is

Concealed Weapon License

My question is: Will Florida accept a DD214, NYS Hunters Safety Course
or a Utah CFP Course Certiicate, as fulfilling their training
requirement for a CWL Thank youBill

We will accept all of the ones mention but you will only need to submit
one. I would suggest the DD214.

A few of my cousins have ccw's down in FL. Some of them don't even carry, they got them because they were so darn reasonable to get compared to here on LI

Yes, Utah CFP Course Certificate will fulfill Florida's training requirement

Florida will accept any training given by any person certified by NRA as an instructor. It does not have to be an official NRA course. I think they want to make sure you know what a trigger is and what the muzzle end of a gun is and how you load and unload a gun safely.
