The total is in.
While we didn;t do as well as Jerry Lewis does at the annual telethon for Muscular Dystrophy, I think we did ok.
Before I give the amount, I first want to say thanks to the guys that sent checks and to all of you that contributed directly to the Sheriff on his website. The Sheriff is a good friend of the gun owner and deservers to be supported by us. It is never in NY that we see a Licensing Agent that has the outlook that the Sheriff has toward firearm ownership. He truly puts his money where his mouth is.
So I am proud to anounce that we raised a total of........$760 dollars.
The checks will be sent out tommorrow via FEDEX overnight delivery and I will post tracking details once I have them. As we all know the Sheriff will respond, if he responds to me personally, I will post his response, but I have a feeling he just may sign on and respond to all of us on this forum. I again ask, and I think we are all in agreement with if that be the case, think before anything is posted.

I have to give a honorable mention to Terry P here also. While his name does not appear on the list of people whose checks I have received, he did mail a check and it seems it was lost in the mail. (No, it's not the typical "the check is in the mail routine"). He has offered to make a donation directly on the Sheriff's
s website in his and LIF name which is appreciated.
I will also make sure that the Sheriff knows many of oyu contributed directly through his site.
