Thats just awesome!!!!  I tried to pass a river once on my CR125 and ceased the engine.  Total dumbass move, needless to say it ruined my day of riding.  I really need another dirtbike.

That is a condition known as hydrolock. Basically water enters the engine as a non compressable fluid and bends connecting rods, breaks piston rings....
It is important for everyone to know where the air intake on your car, truck, suv, quad or bike is. The lower that air intake is positioned, the more vulnerable you are to hydrolock.

In the event we ever need to get off this island because of severe flooding, you need to know about hydrolock and your air intake.
