By coincidence, both arrived today.
Congrats, Im waiting on both myself.  How long did each take?  My Connecticut is approaching eight weeks, but I had to resend my prints.  Maine has been about 3 weeks.

I had to re-submit my Connecticut application because Connecticut required the NRA Basic Pistol Class. I re-submitted my Connecticut application in late February. I submitted Maine about 2 months ago, but I forgot exactly when I mailed it in.

Connecticut also accepts Law Enforcement certifications BMPTC.

Yes, my prints were originally taken by someone who did not know what they were doing.  I went back and they were very nice about it.  The officer was actually embaressed when he saw what a bad job had been done by one of his colleuges.

Great ...

I'm guessing my paperwork will be coming back as well. I rolled my own prints. (Not as easy as you'd think it should be). {Connecticut doesn't require a LEO to roll the prints like Florida does.}

We'll see what happens.

The problem is too much ink or the officer not applying the proper technique.I always tell the person I'm fingerprinting to not press down because you well smudge the fingerprints.Intoxicated or druggies are the hardest to get a good set of prints.
