The City Council passed two gun control bills today:
  • INT 518A-2022, Requires the Mayor’s Office of Criminal Justice to coordinate with the New York City Police Department to conduct a study and issue an annual report to the Mayor and City Council Speaker on the trafficking of illegal firearms into New York City.
  • INT 602-2022, For the purposes of state penal law definition of sensitive area for the carrying of guns, defines the area commonly known as Times Square. Also authorizes the New York City Police Department to promulgate such rules as may be necessary to implement the bill, including rules applicable, as appropriate, to persons with a firearms license who live or work in the area commonly known as Times Square.
Both bills go to Mayor Adams for signing.

Real funny how the low life dirtbags on the City Council go out of their way to single out “persons WITH a firearms license” but make no mention of the savages that do not have a firearms license.

It's almost comical that they can get away with targeting law-abiding gun owners while not prosecuting felony charges on illegal firearms. At this point, if you carried illegally everywhere in NYC and got caught you wouldn't face as much jail time as a legal gun owner exercising their rights. This proves the point that millions before us tried to make: "The only people that care about gun laws are law-abiding gun owners". NYC has become the wild west and last I checked the mayor and city council are busy arresting people for defending themselves while letting people that attacked others with an axe get out in less than 24 hours.
