I do all my shopping, and shooting at Smith Point Archery Patchogue. Great folks there, huge selection, and bow workshop, and mechanic. Archery Forum has very good reviews as well, but never been there.
Archery Shop on LI?
I used to frequent the archery spot in Hicksville quite a bit maybe 10-12 years ago then I changed hobbies so I haven't touched the bow in some 10+ years. Recently a family member showed some interest in the bow so I would like to go down to a shop with him and get him some lessons and get my bow restrung and tuned up. I see the shop in Hicksville has since closed so I'm looking for some suggestions as to a good shop that has a good instructor. I don't mind driving a bit if it's worth it. Also is anyone here a member of Suffolk Archers?

I second Smith Point Archery. Also I am in Suffolk Archers.
