The buck showed itself five times but never within range. Then when he approached another time the doe stepped in the way at 15 yards between me and the buck. I took the shot at the doe. Then the buck showed up once again within 30 minutes and I was able to take the shot.
I am not as fortunate as many of you out there who have the time and access to hunt every week. I get a few days during archery and a few days (sometimes) during gun. So based on this I was not going to let my hunt pass me by.
