Im looking to put an optic on a newly Acquired Rem 700 SPS Tac AAC SD 308. This rifle will primarily be used for hunting though I wouldn't mind occasionally using it for precision shooting out of hunting season. With that being said I'm in the market for a fair priced optic that would kind of kill 2 birds with 1 stone. Iv done a bit of research and found some really good reviews on this particular scope and the price is more then right. Im looking to get it in the Mil Dot Reticle but not sure if its a good idea for hunting. This is the scope, it has a couple of reticle options. Thanks
I just read my post and realized I really didnt ask a question... So basically what's your opinion on a Mil Dot for hunting and what do you think of that scope?
I don't hunt but I shoot with one and they are great. I think they will be perfect for hunting, you just have to learn how to use the system. If you have a range finder it loses some of its value.
