I received several emails from USCCA regarding membership and self defense insurance.

Just wondering if anyone knows if it is BS or real.

I was just looking into this a bit today during some downtime at work. The only "issue" that I have seen brought up is in regards to the following passage from their Liability Coverage Form. I will continue to look into it though and see other options and if any of them are worth it (to me). Hopefully other have more info or experiences....

Here is the passage I was talking about...

"b. We will reimburse the insured up to the Criminal Defense Reimbursement Occurrence
Limit stated in the Declarations, for the reasonable and necessary costs and expenses
incurred in connection with the investigation or defense of any criminal charge or criminal
proceeding arising out of the use of a firearm that is "legally possessed" but only if
and when
:
(1) The insured enters a plea of not guilty; and
(2) The insured is acquitted of all charges; or
(3) The criminal charge or proceeding is dismissed."
