Are 9mm and .380 bullets the same for reloading?

Yes, both are .355" - although the bullets for the .380 are usually lighter. FWIW, you can buy bulk 9mm ammo for less that you can relaod them for.

380 also called the 9mm Kurz ( or 9mm short )
which will fire in a 9mm but prob not work the action. ( we use to mix 380 in the 9mm to run non-function drills in the pistol )

Typically 9mm ammo bullets start at 115 grains but you probably can get a lighter bullet to function however I stick with 115 or larger in 9MM.
