My daughter turns 12 in a couple of weeks and I'm looking to take her trap shooting. She's shot plenty of 22 but never center fire or shotgun. Looking for some advice as to what gauge/ type shotgun to get her. She's a big kid at 5'3 but I don't want her to get scared with the recoil.
I'm looking to get a total noob started on shotgun shooting and was wondering what this place would be like for such a task.

Is the atmosphere chill or is it like a snooty private club? Thanks.

As always, any info is appreciated.

Need a recommendation for a first shotgun dedicated for skeet and trap in the $600 or so range. I have been looking at O/U, but it looks like unless I find a good deal on something used, that is not going to work out. Would you recommend a semi over a pump for this?
I was driving down Mill Road in Valley Stream today. It is a very busy street. The guy in front of me slams on his breaks and puts on his hazards. I go to pass him and he sticks his hand out to tell me to slow down. I slowed down. I passed a sign that looks like every other parking sign and it...
