Not what you were thinking....

I recently came across a RPK, and I don't know much about the gun. Maybe some you guys can share some info this rifle. There are no import marking on the rifle that are visible. The only markings on the rifle are. MOD. AKS-223 CAL. 5.56x45MM SEMI-AUTO

Has anyone experience with using RPK magazines in Vepr rifles? Most interested in finding out if anyone has successfully acquired and used preban RPK-74 magazines in 5.45x39 caliber with a Vepr. Thanks
