The drift adjustable rear sight that comes with this rifle is pretty poor (really non adjustable for windage). Mine falls out if I try to adjust it. Does anyone have suggestions on a good replacement?

I have some basic questions on Rimfire ammo. I know that the firing pin strikes the rim of the cartridge. So here are my questions. 1. When the bullet goes from the magazine into the chamber isn't the bolt smashing pretty hard into the rim of the bullet when chambering it? Is there a chance of...

Anyone have one of these in .22LR? I like that it takes 10/22 mags which I have plenty of, and much cheaper than the 77/22.

I live down South and have family in Nassau County. Thinking about bringing up a rimfire rifle (bolt action) to ease my relatives into the idea of firearms ownership (show them that these things don't have minds of their own, etc. - basic education for people who've never seen/handled firearms)...

Do you really need a rimfire scope period? 22lR ok maybe you don't shoot more then 100 yards but let say a 17HMR where you may want to reach out much further why not a centerfire scope on a 17HMR rifle. I don't see where the difference needs the rimfire??????

I got a big surprise today when I got the first rifle I ever shot. It was given to me 27 years ago by my grandfather when I was 10 years old. It was sitting in the back of a closet at my parents house and was forgotten about until recently when they were remodeling. It's a bolt action...

I was wondering what your opinions are on Rimfire scopes: Given the choice on a "fixed" magnification (e.g. 4x32) or "variable" magnification (e.g. 3-9x32) Same manufacturer, same price, same features... Would you go for the "fixed" or "variable"?????

This afternoon, I picked up two boxes of Scorpion .22 Long Rifle ammo. The dealer (Suffolk Sportsman) had about 6 boxes on the shelf, I elected to buy only two. My primary reason was that with the current shortage... Leave some for others.. I have about 2,000 rounds of Winchester, Remington and...

I couldve sworn reading some part of the bill text which described "Assault Weapons" as Semi-Automatic CENTERFIRE rifles. Is there any truth to this? Is there any text which explicitly attaches the word "Centerfire" to AWs? I just got myself a Ruger 10/22 and id like to know if im gonna get...

Since I posted before what crap Thunderbolt 22 cal is, and I'm the proud owner of a brick and half or so, I was thinking if maybe moly coating the ammo could prevent or minimize leading in the barrel. Thoughts?

When I bought my Savage Mark II a few years ago, I put a Weaver 2.5 X 7 Rimfire scope on it. It was just ok...not the clearest but I could shoot well with it. As I'm getting older, I need a higher magnification, even for 50 yards. My question is do I need to use a Rimfire scope on my .22 or can...
