My .45 ACP reloads (Zero bullets, 230 Gr RN) have not been fully chambering and are difficult to extract in my M&P. I went through several iterations of chasing the usual suspects:
- My OAL was in spec and matched Freedom Munitions 230 gr RN that feed flawlessly.
- adjusted and re-adjusted...
Before I retired almost four years ago I thought I would buy reloading equipment and thus saved my brass, mostly .45acp and .38 special, but some 9mm and rifle calibers as well. Now after getting back into archery, and going five or six summer months each year with nary a trigger being pulled...
I don't reload yet, but I've been saving my brass for the future. Just started using some new freedom munitions 9mm. Was dumping the cases into my bucket and found something strange. The cases seem to have a ridge inside that isn't on any other manufacturers cases. Any thoughts on whether or not...
I am interested in ammo for service rifle competition, using AR-15, 20 inch barrel, 1-7 twist at 200yds. Since I am borrowing rifle from CMP, I am not sure, but think it is chambered in 5.56. If using factory loads, how many grain bullet would you recommend: 50,55,62,69, or 75 gr.? I...

I have some 458 Rem. Mag. ammo that I am thinking about selling. Problem: They are reloads,
I don't reload and have been hearing this is not a good idea, in fact our classifieds section won't
even let me list them, which I can understand
Question: Couldn't someone take them apart and reload...
Sorting through some "once fired brass" and have some 45 GAP that I will never need/use. So far, it's only about 100 pieces of brass but, it's 100 more than what you have now.
Free to anyone who reloads it. Just send me a pic of your reloading dies and your address and it's yours.
I reloaded a batch of .308 today, and when doing a post reload clean up I found obvious signs of overpressure on one case.
An impression of the eject pin hole on the rim of case.
Crack in the neck.
So check those rounds after loading too kids!
I'm trying to get the supplies together for my first reloads. Looking to start my reloading with 45 cal.
Anyway I found these bullets. They have slight blemishes but it seems these guys have a good rep and I don't really care if they are all shiny (espically for my first reloads). They dont...
