    while I was cleaning a muzzle loader, the wire brush broke free and is now stuck in the barrel. The rifle is a side lock, so i cant just push it out from the other end. Any ideas?

    A while back a bought a CVA Kodiak in .45 [discontinued 2007] never fired. I have an opportunity to buy a CVA Wolf in .50 [also never fired] for a good price. .50 seems to be more common/available .... is there any other advantage of .50 over .45?
