"For years now I've been a long distance shooter. For much of that time I've been missing targets
at long distances. There isn't any shame in missing. Most of you have missed more shots than you've

So I've been shopping around online and found an AR upper in 300 blackout that I really like, there's only one issue. It's got a threaded barrel and ships with an a2 flash hider which as we all know is pure evil.
Anyway I'm trying to weigh my options as to what I can do. I know the only clear...
Anyone have any experience with these? I'm a little hesitant.
Can anyone help me remove a muzzle device from a barrel? I have tried just about everything and I can't get it to budge. I'm 99.9% sure it isn't pinned (it's a brand new PSA upper and it didn't say anything about "compliant" and there doesn't appear to be any marring any where on it).
Below is the final, in a series of articles.
I like the purely scientific approach the author used.

Just picked up my Mossberg MVP Thunder ranch in 5.56 with a threaded 18.5 inch barrel. Should I...
A)put an A2 birdcage style flash hider on it
B)put some type of muzzle break on it. I here it will reduce to recoil to about the equivalent of a 22. If so any recommendations
If you have the need for a pinned and welded thread protector for unSAFE compliance or are making a 14.5 into a legal 16, we are now offering the service. Drill, pin and weld is $50.00, muzzle device not included. Properly done with a TIG and touch up bluing to OEM standards.

I found a product that is being sold as a barrel cover/fake suppressor. It does not appear to have any function other than to improve the appearance of a plain barrel. I believe it should be gtg under safe, any opinions? http://www.ftfindust...R-MSOFS-BC.html
The stupid law is so insane it's hard to make sense of it. I remember seeing that the muzzle break clause got thrown out because they spelled it wrong. Does that mean it is legal to put a muzzle brake on a rifle in New York?
I'm a big fan of customizing my rifles and adding tacitcool features. I picked up a savage axis SR in 308 which has a 5/8-24 threaded 20in barrel. My spending cap is around 60-75$. I was either thinking of putting a DSI mock can on there 60$, or ordering an ebay muzzle brake called the tanker...
