I had business in Binghamton NY on Friday and decided to stop in the Reopened Gander Mountain Store in Johnson City (Binghamton). I had not been in the store since it was flooded out the second time in IIRC 2010. The store was one of the nicer Ganders and far superior to the one outside...
Not only the scenery, but his skills are pretty damn good too. I would love to join him, but he doesn't take enough cigarette breaks.
If a mod can imbed this, that would be swell.

Stopped in a Bass pro and Gander mountain near Raleigh. Every caliber was fully stocked except .22 (2 50 rd box limit) Beautiful stores, I stood there in awe. Picked up some ammo and odds n ends. Nice to see the free world.

We will be up around New Paltz tomorrow and I was thinking about stopping at Gander Mountain in Middletown. Anyone been there? Thoughts on whether its worth going? I was looking at a few things on their web page and the prices seem high.

What a disappointment. There was a small 3 foot section that only had .45. No other calibers of pistol...
I noticed there is a $9 ammo surcharge being imposed by Gander Mt. on ammo buys. I think this is only for online purchases. Not sure why they've decided to do this, but it seems things are only getting worse for shooters.
