  1. Bolt Action [Rifles]
OK - just took my new Savage Mk II G to Calverton for a break-in session today. Started at 25 yds...shooting 6" groups with open sights...same at 50 yds. Elevation was close enough. Only one problem...the groups are a good 4"-6" to the right of my POA (I was shooting from a bench rest)...

This has been the longest 4 months in history for me. I put the house that I co-own with my exwife up for sale in May after months of renovating. Hey didn't I do all this work 31 years ago when we bought the house in Commack? Jumping to today, the house is in the final stages approaching...

I have the Competition model. The issue is when loading a mag in to the gun, the mag hangs up about 1/2 - 3/4 way up. I have to remove it a bit and then it goes in all the way. Anyone know what's causing this? I read online of others having the same problem but no cure.

Saw this posted elsewhere, thought it was neat as hell. I wish someone would do it for the 10/22 as well, as I'm sure that bounces. Now if you will excuse me, I need to vigorously clean my Mk II. Happy Easter!! Clean Dirty Filthy Filthy Pistol All credit to the OP on Imgur/Reddit -

I know, I have a little problem but there are so many items that spark my interest. Anyway, I have been looking into the ruger mk 111 22/45. Truth be told, it always has interested me. what do you guys think of it? I was looking at it from a pure target sense since I don't think that I would...

On January 26, 1907, the SMLE (Short Magazine Lee-Enfield) Mk III rifle was introduced to service in the British military. It was and remains, a bolt action, box magazine fed, repeating rifle that was chambered for the .303 British round. The SMLE Mk III was modified in 1915 to become the SMLE...

I just bought a Ruger Mark II Government Target to use for the .22 matches at the LIPSA range and wanted to know if anyone had any experience with holsters and other equipment such as mag pouches. It doesn't seem like there are many options to choose from for these guns. Right now I'm looking at...
  9. Semi-Auto [Handguns]
I'm awaiting my interview at 1PP, and am trying to decide on what pistol to get when the time comes. Still up in the air between a Glock 19, and a Ruger MK iii. Right now it's looking like it'll be the .22 I know Ruger is trying to catch up with demand, and was wondering what shops carry a...

So, I load the mag and then pull the bolt handle back to load a shell into the chamber......and nothing. The shell will not leave the mag and load into the chamber. I've tried different sized shells, loading from only 1 to the full 8 shells in the mag, taken it apart, cleaned it and put it back...
