I'm having trouble with my Marlin 336--30/30. Lever gets stuck and jams. It's been sent back to Marlin and apparently they did nothing. Any suggestions on what I can do to fix it or do I have to go to a gunsmith.

So my little brother has a Marlin 60 so I gave him a bunch of 22 ammo for it. There was Remington, federal Winchester 333 and Winchester m22. Everything shoots fine except the m22 black nose. The bullet won't fire and it gets stuck in the barrel and you have to pry it out except the bullet...

While sliding the bolt back after cleaning, it slid all the way in & clicked before I could re-install the lever. Now it won't slide out. The cleaning rod won't budge it. There must be some sort of bolt release but no mention of one in the owners manual.

I can get my hands on a Marlin 1894SS .44 rifle for a great p[rice but I am concerned about its legality here in NY. It holds 10 rounds + 1 chambered and the law says no more than 10 rounds.....is it legal? Fairly new at this and don't want to buy something I cannot use....Thoughts?

I've got a 1948 39-A Marlin 22 handed down from my grandfather/father to me. It's misfiring (leaves small dent in cartridge but not always firing). I suspect it just needs a good tune-up.... or? Anyone know of a LI gunsmith that knows this rifle, can have a look at it?

Always wanted one, found a reasonable example on GunBroker. Refinished the stock, put a Skinner Winged rear sight on it and a used a Marlin 795 Tech Sight for the front sight. I like the military sight picture and the Tommy gun look to it. Just got to get to the range with it.
