I'm doing some cleaning, and found 3 small tins of lead pellets, and a mushroomed lead .45 Colt slug in the one tin I was given by a friend. I no longer have a pellet gun to shoot them, and have no idea how to dispose of them safely. Suggestions?

I had always suspected Jarrett was giving Obama his marching orders. But this took me by surprise. Now we know why the Iranian deal was made, so poorly for us in the U.S.

Is there any additional cleaning with shooting lead rounds? They are lubed with wax from what I see. I usually shoot jacketed or plated but I'm looking to shoot these to reduce the cost a little. Would be using these out of my Sig P227. TIA.

This from the Seattle Times, which comes from the land of liberal thinking. Take it for what it's worth. But no matter what you feel on their politics, lead is not good for us. Edited to add: The article is pretty comprehensive. A confused 38-year-old father in Kentucky rarely crawled out of...

Been talking to the plumber on my sites and he does his shower pans in lead. He has scrap lead left over from the roll. I'm in possession of about 15-20lbs at the moment. Free to whoever wants it. I'm pretty sure it's 100% lead (I asked and thus is what I was told, for shower pans)

I am going to begin reloading pistol ammo shortly while I'm waiting for my pistol permit to come through. Mostly 9mm, 40 and maybe some 45ACP. Not knowing much about the affects of lead projectiles through a barrel I was curious as to what everyone else's thoughts were. Mainly the pros...

Just heard on cbs that Suffolk County is going to follow New York City's lead and ban tobacco products for people under 21. personally if I was a Suffolk resident I would be calling my legislator and telling them not to. I don't personally care for tobacco however I don't want to see Suffolk...

If you think the ammo shortage is bad now, wait until Jan., 2014. Does this mean the Govt will control all lead shipments (mostly from China) into this country, and thus the mfg of ammo and who gets it? Why ban guns, just ban ammo. http://www.ammoland..../#axzz2j6vZgFKu
