How are these rifles? I've read that the gun company use to make the early weatherby vanguard. Not sure how true that is. One walked into the office for $625. It's been used but looks good, has a wood stock, has a Mueller 8-32x44SF scope on it. Also comes with a Harris Bilod.

Is this a good rifle? I was told by a buddy they made the early weatherby. Just wondering....this gun that I saw was in 7mm mag.

Looking into both rifles in the packages with the scope. The Howa 1500 comes with a Nikko Stirling scope and the Savage comes with the Nikon BDC scope. I want the rifle chambered in 30-06. Which one is better both are around the same price.

Any thoughts on the Howa 1500 Gameking? Also, where on long island can I get one? I can only find them on buds guns.com... anybody use them before?
