I been tossing it around on buying a 20 ga. for light sporting clays more like a when ever I get a chance to shoot.

Recoil is a major problem only because of shoulder surgery a few years back.I have shot a O/U 20 Ga. target loads not bad after 25 rounds but the next day the shoulder is a little sore.
I wonder will a 28 ga. be a draw back on sporting clays ?
I think it should be a little lighter on recoil .
