I have a Nassau permit and want to buy a pistol from budsgunshop.com. They don't ship to Nassau FFLs. I was going to use a Suffolk FFL. Is this okay? Do I need a bill of sale from the Suffolk FFL? I think yes b/c handbook says purchase from NY dealer? Is there any issue I need to be aware...
Found an old SKS I'm in love with and want to have it shipped to NY from NJ. What does the collective wisdom say are some of the better shops to do this? First batches of ammo would be purchased from said shop too.
I heard the Freeport Range recently stopped doing FFL transfers, but don't have any further details. I hope they can resume in the near future.
Can anyone recommend a Nassau County-based FFL that will accept incoming (new) long guns for a reasonable price?
Hi! I've decided to buy either a CMP M1 Garand or a Swiss G11 or K31 from Simpson LTD. It is also my first time buying a firearm involving an FFL, and I want to find the right place to do it. I don't have a problem with paying a few extra dollars for not having hassle from the ATF or NY State...
Which FFL is best to ship a pistol to an out of state FFL that I am selling? I am thinking in terms of fee and also what the shipping charge will be.
It's a PIA; need to take them off the license with an amendment as well. Makes it discouraging to sell anything.
Just wondering what you guys usually do when purchasing a pistol online.
Do you first ask the FFL if they are willing to do the transfer before you make your purchase?
Do you make the purchase first and then notify the FFL that you are having a pistol shipped to them for transfer?
I have not used mine in some time but just happened to see it while looking for other papers... It expired 12/15.. I don't believe I received anything stating a renewal?? I'm thinking in the past I did? anyone know? Or is this a way to make them disappear?
Hey all, due to a slight change of plans Vick is on daddy day care, and Rone is out today.
We won't be able to do any transfers today. Sorry about that.
If you can, please PM me or email me with all FFL requests today.
Allie says thank you,
Hey team, anyone know which gun stores will store firearms during a divorce? Buddy of mine is in the middle of an ugly one and wants to find someone to store em. He is in Breezy, so any suggestions closer to queens would be much appreciated.
I'm looking to transfer a pistol to my brother down in Florida. Can this be done by any FFL? All the info I find is for NY to NY transfers or if you are transferring FROM another state....
