New to the forums and very excited to interact. Birthday coming up in august, was wondering if you bunch had a couple ideas of what i could treat myself to.

Still tweaking this AR out, had the trigger and hammer pins walk out, think I fixed that, other then that issue I love this thing. Cheap to shoot, low recoil and just plain fun to shoot. I'm taking it the end of the month to a machine gun shoot in PA to do an assault hike with, think it will be...

I like the Sporter and Monte Carlo stocks of the ARES Featureless but do I have other choices in this style? The proprietary trigger with a 10lb pull and way you mate the upper and lower sound frustrating. Looking to go in either the .223 or .308 direction
  4. Nassau County [Ranges]
I haven't been to the range in a while. Has the DSI fiasco had any effect on the number of people shooting featureless rifles? Any hard times to be had from range officers?

I am looking for recommendations for flip up back up iron sights for a DS-15 Featureless MOE with a FRS-15 stock. I am a bit confused about what types will work. I believe the gas block rail is the same height as the main rail, but I am not sure it is exact. Any information or recommendations...

what do you guys think about this new rifle, looks like combination between ar15 and bolt action (sort of), is it really legal in NYS/NYC? It says it's legal in 50 states but knowing NY law, i'll believe until I have it in my hand.
  8. AR - [Rifles]
I'm sorry if this has been asked & answered before. Is it legal to transfer a featureless AR in NY .... through an FFL of course? Logic says "yes" as it is not an AW [by NY unSAFE def] but my "spidey sense" says otherwise.

Has anyone seen a featureless A R at any of the long Island ranges ???

Just read that Tresmond the lawyer said he negotiated with the state police and that featureless AR's are legal and that new featureless AR's will be allowed to be sold in NY. Not too sure about the truth in all this but you can always Google it.

I'm doing a post safe build that doesn't need to be registered and had a question about an upper with a pinned and welded flash hider... Is that still considered featureless or is there anything new about that and no matter if its pinned/welled or not, is it not legal as "featureless" anymore...

Has anyone made a featureless A R after January 15 2013 and been able to take it to the range . I just ordered stripped lower and plan on making one .

My brother has an NHM 91 in a fiberforce stock. We have been talking about how to make it featureless for when the time comes, so he took the original thumbhole stock, filled in the hole, cut it to a comfortable angle and painted it. It feels like a regular non pistol grip rifle. Now it goes...
