After going thru a $9.00 package (6) of .22 LR snap caps while setting up the trigger on my new CZ 455, I remembered an old trick from many years ago. These actually work better than and last longer than commercial snap caps.

As I almost always wear a belt and suspenders....and always use snap caps on my hammer-fired pistols I'm wondering if I'm correct using snap caps on my striker-fired pistols. I see no reason why not, but are they necessary or advised? On my S&W's (SD9, Shield and SW990L) it's easy to rooster...

I tried these supposedly decent Snap Caps in my new Ruger LC9. After firing them they are hard to eject. I rack the slide and they usually bounce around in the chamber instead of ejecting. I have to lock open the slide and shake them out or pull them out. One actually got partially jammed into...

Only here a short time and have already gotten some incredible advice. Never thought to purchase snap caps to practice loading and unloading my firearm. I'm new to this and another member suggested this as a first step. I bought them on amazon. Looking forward to practicing safely. Thought this...
