Anyone know where it's possible to get a cap gun/toy gun on long island. Looked everywhere for halloween but as I should've anticipated with NY couldn't find a single one. One card store had a crappy little one that was smaller than my hand.
Yup, according to this article somebody registered 544K mags. Read the article for other tidbits on the registration stats up in Conn.
I was wondering if anyone would know approximately how much it would cost to get a fiberglass pickup cap painted so it would have the same factory color. Also open to other options. May get a good deal on a cap but the color would look awful on my truck.
Attached is a picture of two factory low cap mags: One has a shortened steel body with plastic insert the other one is practically a hi-cap with one dimple on each side which limit the number of rounds you can load. I really like the one with dimples not only because the stress on magazine...
I remember there being a topic or post about a year ago that had a list of outfitters that were still shipping hi-cap mags to LEO's in NYS. Anyone remember the name of that topic or know a few websites were there shipping to us? Thanks
Ok, here's the way its played.
1) Post a picture.
2) Copy a posted picture and add your funny quote or caption to it.
I'll start with this fellow:
I have a bicentennial revolver in a presentation case that grandpa gave me many years ago. I forgot about it until cleaning out a closet this weekend. My question is can it be fired or made to be fired? It has, High Standard, Hamden, CT. U.S.A. marked on it, also matching serial numbers. There...
I got the itch for a more traditional muzzleloader. I have been looking at Kentucky, great Plains, Tennessee, and Hawken style rifles from various brands (Pedersoli, Traditions, Lyman). Haven't made up my mind yet which style I want. Is there a local shop on the Island preferably...
So I'm sure this question has been asked and/or answered on this forum before; but are retired LEO exempt from not being able to keep/own any "hi-cap/ pre-ban" mags for rifle or pistol after Jan 2014?
Not that I really want to give anything up at all, but push comes to shove as I see it I have...
Ok very new to shotguns... Is it possible/safe/stupid to have your tube loaded but your first round in the chamber a snapcap so you have to pump once to eject the snapcap and load a live round?
Is this something people do?
Do all shotguns allow you to load the tube but not have one in the...
Does anyone know any retailer that will ship high cap mags to LEOs in NY?
I've been searching for months and to date there is not one online retailer that will send any high mags to NY, even if your a LEO.
Not sure if this was covered, but I'm looking to get a cap for my Ram and was wonder if anybody has dealt with East Neck Auto Service (ARE Cap) in West Babylon or Trailer City East (LEER cap) in Commack.
I'm trying to keep the expense down so probably not looking to spend no more than $1300.
