I see Remington is celebrating it 200th anniversary with numbered Limited Edition guns and commemorative guns
I do like the 870 express 200th anniversary gun it's not to fancy for the feild but not to plane for the range.
I spoke to the local Pelican rep and he said the 1750 with that length gun was fine. I went with the Pelican 1750 that I found online for $190.
The rifle came in today and I put the bipod and scope on......

Just got my cmp m1 garand today didn't take as long as i thought. i got service grade springfield according to serial number made summer of 1940 don't know to much about it looks clean and action is very smooth can't wait to take it to the range. wish there was a way to find more info 1940...
Well I don't know how this could happen but a S&W 1911 kept calling me to take it home, who am I to refuse, now to get out to the range to shoot it. I already polished the barrel will jewel the barrel hood over the holiday weekend.

Was shooting in the frigid cold today at Brookhaven, and was surprised to notice my flash suppressor got loose somehow and managed to unscrew itself halfway while I was firing!
Mind u this rifle has less than 1000 rds.
Would u experienced guys say this is something "typical"?
