Hi Guys My boys have been busting my chops to hit calverton and do some family shooting. My oldest has an internship in the city so that limits us to the weekends which is nuts at Calverton.I'm used to going in the morning. Are we better off going there after 1 to get a spot on the rifle side...

Went out to Calverton today to exercise some 2A. Threw about 150 rounds of 30.06 down range through the ol M1 Garand and M1917. Beautiful day for it and not to busy. As the great Hickok 45 would say Life is Good.

Spent a few hours there yesterday morning.Shot some rifle and pistol.Dont shoot much anymore,recent events kinda took the wind out of my shooting sails.But I must say watching the guy next to me breaking open his fixed mag AR15 replica made me sick to my stomach. That is all

Does Calverton shovel? I want to go but not if I am going to have to walk in a foot of snow to get to my targets. My gut tells me I am not going until the snow is melted.

Anyone at calverton today? Was there with some friends sighting in my scope on the AR. Was packed and of course it wouldnt be a day at calverton without one group of idiots. Was a few benches over from some guys shooting Ak's with one hand, two people shooting in the same lane at the same time...
