    I'm sure this topic has been beaten to death, I just don't remember the answer. Since the SAFE act says no muzzle devices, would slots or holes drilled into the barrel to act as a muzzle brakes also be a no no?

    The New York state rifle and pistol association recently posted information on their facebook that seems to indicate that we may have won back the ability to have brakes on our rifles in court. I just wanted to see if I could get confirmation that I'm understanding that correctly.

    I normally do my own work. I installed my rear brakes last April and my front brakes are ready to be done. I was going to order a set of decent brakes off Rock Auto, bring them to my local mechanic or possibly do them myself if I have time. Any members on here have a shop? Nassau. If I go DIY...

    I have a converted saiga and took a pipe cutter to the front shroud to check if there is threads underneath. Well turns out there is none. I know the factory AK threads are 14x1 LH. For the AK guys what muzzle brake are you using? and how do you like it?
