I am very interested i birds of prey. I always have been.
Recently I found a live streaming site that is keeping an eye on three bad eagles that were born awhile back.
It is very cool. So i thought i would share it with anyone that might be interested...
I just saw an adult bald eagle in East Islip.
I was outside and it flew over and around my trees. It did a few laps around and then flew off.
I've never seen one on Long Island in my life, but this was one.
Unless it was some type of new secret drone but I'm going for it being real deal.
I don't get Newsday any longer and haven't for years due to its liberal agenda but my wife still reads it on her ipad. Today she showed me the cover and associated story. Looks like 3 baldies haven't taken up winter residence at Hempstead lake park. Might take a drive there this weekend to try...
