    I got tired of the stubby, can't catch with gloves on magazine release on the savage. Took some jb weld and went to it, 5 mins later and some sanding and I have this. Gave it a flat side and square edges on the side facing the mag and rounded out everything else.

    I have a Stevens Savage #64 -22LR . The magazine lips are worn unevenly to the point that one lip is very thin. Any suggestions about how to correct this? Thanks for any help. I called Savage and the were no help, they said to buy a new gun.
