this is the same DA who arrested thousands of innocent people for possessing a pocket knife or store owners for selling pocket knives by using a loose interpretation of the gravity knife laws.

Vance will do anything to be in the limelight

More like Sodom & Gomorrah, and we know what happened to those cities.

Genesis 13:13:

But the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the LORD exceedingly.

I got to say, I try to stay out of political and religious based discussions these days.

Not because I don't have my own opinions or beliefs (I do), and certainly not because I am afraid of, or worried about, being perceived as trying to "offend" anyone (If I ever choose to offend anyone, it will be  "fire and brimstone" clear (see what I did there?, lol), not a case of "what they thought I meant" BS.)

Nope, I don't enter those types of conversations because they almost always tend to go loony right away these days, and I just don't see the point, or have the patience or tolerance for it.

I soundly believe everyone has the right to their beliefs....as long as they stay personal.

Anyhoooo....your post made me chuckle inside.

My background is that I went through 12 years of elementary and high school parochial schooling, and was raised by very devout Catholics, so I know the story better than many.

Now, for what it's worth, and again, no offense to anyone or their own personal beliefs, but I personally did not follow that schooling, or my parent's ways, so don't read too much into this please.

That being said, and taking the Sodom & Gomorrah story in both literal, as well as varied theologically interpreted context,  the parallel to today's times is rather undeniable.

I've thought of the tale quite often over the past few years myself.
