If this were "Jeopardy" the question would be "What is brighter than Joe Biden?" but my question is this When did ordinary incandescent light bulbs become so damn expensive? I know during Obama's administration they tried to eliminate ordinary bulbs in favor of those unsafe spiral type bulbs. Now the choices include the old standard bulbs at an inflated price and a myriad of LED, halogen, energy saving, etc. bulbs at a cost of about $12 or more for six. It seems they all but phased out the tried and true Edison bulbs and when you can find them they're costly. They're also the bulb that works best with my dimmers.

I bought cases of the old style when the annonited one made his proclamation about led bulbs. hate the way that LED light looks. They dont go bad so I am set for the next 10 years.

I needed a regular 100 watt bulb for a reptile tank. Could not find any in the stores.

I do recommend putting led headlights on your car. Huge difference in light output.

Try finding 60 watt intermediate base bulbs for a ceiling fan. Impossible. They are either really small or standard base. No one makes the intermediate anymore.
