While I don't think personal attacks are appropriate, when the true subject is something ugly being proposed as legislation, there is an old saying that ugly starts from within, then manifests, on the outside. Have you not seen how hate, greed, envy, rampant distrust and general unhappiness can turn the physical looks of people, into continuous scowls and sneers, in addition to making their personalities vile?

 

Yes, she is an older woman and, yes, she is of a mindset which says that others should not even think about doing anything of which she does not personally approve, just because she says so but you can't tell her the opposite, as respects her choices of anything.

 

The general tone of your comment suggests that you might favor her proposal. Am I misreading that?
