Number 5 and 3 are most probable, and #5 can happen immediately.

I think if you could somehow manage to break up the parties into smaller groups: it would fix allot of the problem.

Concentrations of power will ruin any political system.

I think we should just have a dual party equally divided. Just like now 50/50 Senate. then divide the house equally. Also 8 justicies 4 and 4. Now they have to compromise to get things done. This and a single 6 year term and that will go a long way to fix this mess.

maybe, but the problem is that many movements, individuals with big influence, individuals with huge money, and groups have been trying for over a hundred years with little success

the modern conservative movement and Conservative party under William Buckley couldn’t do it

the Koch brothers couldn’t do it

the old right couldn’t do it ( but had limited success under Harding and Coolidge)

modern conservative movement under Rush Limbaugh couldn’t do it

Reagan couldn’t do it

Barry Goldwater failed miserably at it

modern libertarian party couldn’t do it

free market economists couldn’t do it (although they changed many other countries and still do)

Ayn Rand followers couldn’t do it

Trump nationalists couldn’t do it

John Birch Society couldn’t do it

etc....etc...etc...

I would love to see this country restored on the John Locke principles it was built on. But most Americans don’t even know what they are, even many conservatives that claim to love the constitution don’t know.

I have faith that liberty and capitalism will prevail, because the empirical evidence is clear that it works..  but will we see this country return to it? Time will tell
