I don't think so.  I checked his profile and it shows he was last active on our site 12:45 PM today but even so I'll say my prayers.

If he was active today how could he have died yesterday?

I find it hard to believe that a legitimate election, in Georgia, would go to Democrats. Georgia has a high percentage of retired and active military people, who don't vote Democrat. GA is a very pro-2A state, also.

I copied and pasted his last posting.  The Gary C. Hungerford eulogized in the obit passed on that same day.  The site also states that he was active on the site yesterday.  That may mean that he continued to have the link open on his computer, much like a lot of us do including myself.  Continued prayers.

As much as I enjoy this forum if I was on my death bed I doubt one of my last acts on this earth would be a post.

Folks:

No, this was not me. It is a distant relative, who lived in Farmingdale. Until his death, there were 3 with the same name, on LI and a few upstate.

I am surprised you didn’t find the other local gun shop on Long Island that is asking stupid numbers on Rugers and post it yet?

Glad to see you are still with us. Sorry to hear about your relative.

I appreciate the sympathy but I only met the man, once, then spent all of about 20 minutes with him. That was 30+ years ago and haven't seen or heard from him, since. We met only because UPS had mis-delivered a package, meant for me, to him.

Folks:

It's nice to know that, someone, somewhere, might just miss me, when I finally do get to that place in life. Thanks. However, since I'm only in my 70s, I plan to work, for another 30~40 years, before I cut back, to part time, to only work about 40 hours a week. After 20~30 years of that, I might think about retirement or, more likely, just a short vacation or a long lunch.

My accountant said I have to work 30 years after I’m dead

Then, it's time to change accountants.

I knew the Gary in question wasn't you but I thought rather than spoil the fun I'd let you chime in to clear things up :).

After 39 years with the company I started my part-time hours today (20 hours). My bossed asked how things went. I told him "Great, I got up at 10:00 am." He said "I'm jealous."

I would’ve thought the OP being a former LEO would refrain from posting an obituary. Mr. Hungerford is alive and well.
