So what would have been a fine is now a death sentence. Incredible. Very fortunate he didn't kill someone else in the process.

I guess the teaching of never reaching into the car that far didn't help... we use to make them remove keys.

You already know who the driver is, do an Elsa if need be

I agree. I was surprised when I saw that. Fortunately, he was not seriously hurt.

All that talent on that V&T stop, once the officer knew this was an impound. The officer should’ve immediately said shut the engine and remove the keys. Luckily none of the officers were severely injured by this knucklehead.
You never go reaching in a car with a driver with the engine running. The officer was lucky.
