I am a California resident, but will be spending a good deal of time in Nassau County over the next couple of years and would like a referral to a competent attorney who can explain my permissions and constraints under New York firearms laws given those facts.  I shoot tactical competitions with a bolt rifle, IDPA with a semi-auto pistol, and own and have shot 3-gun matches with an AR15 and semi-auto shotgun.

Any help much appreciated.
