Anyone here know if a SVT40 is legal in NY after safe act? On my list for milsurp collectables

It looks like a muzzle brake or a flash hider...both are banned features.

But given its age, I’m not sure that it isn’t a curio or relic. The SKS has a bayonet mount, but is exempt because of its age, IIRC.

SKS IS exempt not because of its age but because it is a fixed magazine
