"A new book from a controversial former executive accuses the National Rifle Association of 'appealing to the paranoia and darkest side of our members.'"

The NRA should not pick sides except where a candidate advocates repeal of 2A or really extreme measures, like confiscation, microstamping, or biometric locks. It  should be keeping an open dialog with all others so that it can influence more participants in the  gun control fight.

If Joe Biden wins, do you think he will welcome input from the NRA?

It's just not smart to make enemies of persons who could be neutral or allies.

Second in command, at NRA? What a joke and a massive misrepresentation!! But, I suspect, the general public will buy into that description. Joshua Powell was little more than a glorified chief assistant to LaPierre (We used to title those jobs as "secretary" or "executive assistant"). While I agree that LaPierre may have had his hand in the cookie jar, for a long time, this guy's book is nothing more than a cheap shot a vindictiveness, for being fired, for misappropriating funds.

This guy was just a swamp dweller and never a true gun guy.  He's looking to make nice with the prosecutor.   Not even the leftist media gives 2 effs about him.
