Hey all,

I just got my phone call finally. I am going in for my interview tomorrow. My investigator mentioned that it’s what they’re calling “pistol palooza” where you go down an assembly line of sorts through all the steps.

Has anyone gone through this? Would love some feedback and have an idea on what I can expect.

If I pass all steps tomorrow to I get my permit right then am there? Or is it another waiting game?

Usually more of a wait but be sure to let us know what your investigator was talking about.

Those 3 month turn around time was very short. Expect over 6 months to over a year.

Submitted Pistol/target application today in Nassau County without a hitch. Fingerprints 10-02.  The officer could not have been more courteous.

How did the interview go?

I had to reschedule. I was on antidepressants a few years ago, and they called me back and said needed to get the ok from a doctor saying I'm not an endangerment to myself or others
